It was a beautiful and sunny when I arrived in St. Elmo this morning. Interestingly, I did not see another human being throughout my walk through this special town. You can see my picture collection from my visit here: Historic St. Elmo Buildings A Very Special Place ... St. Elmo, Colorado
I am not fortunate enough to live in St. Elmo, but calling Buena Vista my home gives me the
luxury of making the short drive to visit this special town frequently.
Being a photographer of Colorado's natural beauty, I have found myself frequently inside Chalk Creek Canyon, the magnificent canyon inside the Sawatch mountain range that leads to St. Elmo and other points. Through the years, I have taken hundreds of photos of mountain scenery, historic buildings and fall foliage in and around the town of St. Elmo. This site will be my "reason" to visit St. Elmo more often, and so be assured this place will be updated regularly with new photos. For without a doubt, there is a lot to cover in those mountains! I trust this web site will become a community web site for residents, property owners, tourists and other who have a heart for this special town. Please feel welcome to comment on the St. Elmo Forum. All the best, Steve
