In personal news, I returned back to Buena Vista three weeks ago after bicycling across America. Yep, I rode my bike from the Pacific Ocean in San Diego to the Atlantic Ocean in Georgia, totaling about 2,400 miles of riding. By the way, should you visit the mountains and/or access the high country in the near future, please be extremely cautious, for the avalanche danger is very high.

Lastly, just look at that poor truck (right photo) still quite surrounded by all that snow! :)

	It was a very sunny day today.

	On the way back out of the canyon, I captured a picture of Alpine Lake at the infamous "soft shoulder." There is still a lot of snow and ice on it!

The Arkansas River - Buena Vista, Colorado Oh ... I just thought I'd add a photo of the Arkansas River from yesterday morning (April 17). We received some snowfall and I thought the white covering looked really pretty by the river.
